nichole de carle

Nichole de Carle is amazing! I just learned of her through the Bleach Black blog. She specializes in fit and has worked as a tailor for labels such as Alexander McQueen, Donna Karan and Pleasure State. I love the strappy architectural lines created around the body.

dark and beautiful

Just some beautiful images I found on Fashiongonerogue.com, first published in V magazine (Fall 2008). I'm keeping these for my archive of inspirations...

the sweetest things...

Some of the sweetest things are hand-written postcards...I received this one from the most awesome hairstylist I know, Sarah Valentine! I recently sent her a couple of flesh. camisole and panty sets for having done such beautiful work on my models at Je Reve Encore. Check out her blog at http://www.believebotanica.blogspot.com/. Thanks for the lovely note Sarah glad you like your gift!!

webby site

I'm making it my goal for the next month to work on my website in which I can feature and sell flesh. As I sit here with my mood board I feel like an element is missing to help inspire me.....well, until this song came on...this is the mood of flesh.

rustic rust lace, dark silky charmeuse and pixie peter pan collars

I've been wanting to take some process photos of this one. I had a sketch of this set sitting around for months. Finally I had a chance to finish it. The rust colored lace is unique in that it's more soft to the touch compared to your typical lace. The peter pan collar creates a deep neckline at the center front and is made of black silk charmeuse. Trimmed in black scalloped elastic, the silhouette is a trapeze shape with a hook-n-eye closure at the collar. The bikini bottom is made of this rust colored lace and black silk charmeuse. I should have these available by Valentine's Day 2011!!! hopefully on my new online shop.....!!

let the accessories do the talking

I'm not sure how I missed this one but I just noticed it while sifting through J Crew's sale site (extra 30% sale off items). Is it the feathers? the ribbon? the jewels? the deep rich green color? or the fact that you could throw this over a t-shirt and look fabulous still? Please excuse me while I obsess over this...

amanda wakeley s/s 2011

too many good things happening in this show not to share...the mixture of leather, metals and beautifully draped Grecian type dresses were in perfect proportions.
